Light & Simple
The project involved a combination of stone and marble elements for the kitchen in this beautiful large new-build house in the countryside, north of Dublin. The focal point of the kitchen is the Calacatta marble backsplash. It has been bookmatched, the practice of matching two marble slabs, so that two adjoining surfaces mirror each other, giving a butterfly effect. The natural light and open space mixed with the natural stone create a warm, inviting area. Material used: Calacatta Marble and Lagoon Silestone. Status: Completed in Winter 2016.
